I’m thinking of driving down from Omaha and do some winter riding. What is the condition of the trail in February as a general rule.

The trail is maintained year round. When the crushed limestone surface is wet, it gets mushy, increasing rolling resistance. The trick is finding places open in the off season for food. We have done a few winter tours, and enjoyed every day. Check out my posts.
