Is overnight multi-day parking allowed at the Augusta trailhead? And if so, is it a safe location?

Yes you can park at the trailhead to ride the trail. That's what it's for. It's been a few years ago since we've parked there, but we had no issue when we did. I don't recall any posts here indicating that it was not a safe location.
