Just returned to Ohio after riding the Katy Trail from Clinton to Machens. Great trail, wonderful natural beauty, and friendly people all along the way. Only wish that we had more time to spend in the local towns along the trail. Timing was perfect: we were in Sedalia in time to see the Tour of Mossouri Time Trials. Had van support so we stayed in motels and ate at local restaurants, all were great picks especially Dottie's Cafe in Hartsburg.
Study this website and buy "The Complete Katy Trail Guidebook" by Brett Dufur. Both provide a wealth of information and made for an enjoyable trip.
Go Missouri! Hope to ride the Katy again.
