You could probably leave your car at the trailhead just south of the depot. I've left mine there overnite and never had a problem. I've also left it in the Comfort Inn parking lot after a nites stay and it's been okay.

You should have no problem parking at the Katy Depot in Boonville. It's downtown near the casino and well-lit.

Timon, I have left my truck parked at the trailhead in Boonville and spent several nights away on the trail and never had a problem.
