Cell Phone Service--specifically T-Mobile

My wife and I will be riding the entire Katy in September. Does anyone know the extent of cell phone service--specifically T-Mobile--along the trail?

I have Verizon and rode from Jeff City to St Louis and had no problems getting a strong signal.

I rode the entire trail in 2007 with T-mobile phone. It was not great, but not awful. Near the bigger cities I had coverage but on the trail, it was probably about 50-60 percent and even when I had coverage, it wasn't a strong signal. Still, it was better than others had.

i have always had cingular / att-cingular, and never had a problem wher ei have ridden. have rode from booneville to north jefferson and st charles to past green bottoms, and defiance to augusta and never a problem.

I rode from Old Town St. Charles past the biker bar in Defiance. Had cell service the whole way, although I only had 1 bar a time or two. Still worked great on T-Mobile. Everyone is pretty friendly anyway, if you have a problem.
