Birk's Gasthaus has a new owner: a friendly lady by the name of L.C. However, the service was as superb as when Rick was the owner. We were there for 4th of July festivities and a Katy trail ride. L.C. was very helpful with updating us on the best places to eat, and to see. The only thing that we thought it was "questionable" in this experience was the lack of housekeeping for our room while we were there, but we figured it was probably because of the holiday. Overall, L.C. is doing a great job keeping up with the previous owners' excellent reputation as B&B hosts, even though I did miss Rick's homemade, warm, brownie topped with vanilla ice-cream at night!
