Just finished an out and back from Defiance to Providence. A wonderful time...Thanks to all who contribute to the forum as I was able to plan well because of it. I knew ahead of time, but will also add that insect repellant and paper money are vital. Also, know the hours of places you want to eat etc.

Yes...paper money is a good thing to have. We've discovered that quarters are pretty handy too when you have to hit up Mr. Vendo! I don't recall the name of the town, but on the Tunnel Hill Trail in Illinois last year there was a soda machine that was the only business open...and it didn't take paper money.
