We had a bad experience at the Katy Trail B&B in Rocheport. We stayed in the Katy View room. Their advertising is totally deceptive; The bed is a double, not queen, breakfast is a joke, the hot tub was filthy and slimy to the touch - not useable.
The trueman center in Jeff city is good; ask for Katy Trail discount, DON'T TRY TO RIDE ACROSS THE BRIDGE INTO JEFF CITY UNLESS YOU'RE SUICIDAL. This hotel will come to the trail head to pick you up.
Captain Woult in Hermann is a fantastic B&B. Hosts are great people. The bridge across the river is rideable - unlike Jeff City bridge.
