My daughter and i raced from Sedalia to Rocheport to make it in time for the Meriwether pancakes for dinner -- and boy were they good. After a restful stay in town, came back and had the french toast for breakfast -- love this place, first came here 10 years ago and still enjoy coming back.....although wish they had a bike mechanic in the building.

Marieether has good food and coffee; I heard. But the "bike" shop is a joke. They have more protein/energy gels than tubes,tires,patch kits,ect. Just sayin

I got a great cup of coffee and 2 tubes to go. Exactly what I needed. Maybe mine were the last tubes in stock. This was last Sunday so I was psyched that I could purchase tubes after 3 flats.

I don't see that the Meriwether Bike Shop is a joke or that they are misrepresenting themselves.

In all fairness Ceo, from their website:

We are primarily a bike rental business. We do carry a limited amount of inventory geared towards emergent repair (tubes, chain lube, etc) and comfort additions to your working bicycle. If you are in need of repair, there are many bike shops that provide service in Columbia, just 12 miles east of Rocheport.
