We are looking for a safe place to leave our van around St Charles or close by while we spend 4 days on the trail

We parked at the Lewis & Clark Boathouse and Museum for four days a month ago with no problems. Area seemed to have traffic and we noticed a police car drive through the parking lot.

Large Parking lot right along the trail in St Charles.
Our car was fine left 4 days in September near the gazebo in the lot just downrvier from the Country Inn
Quite a few people coming & going in the area.
