Your map shows the trail running from Union to Villa Ridge. You do realize this is an active rail line-not a trail-from Union into St Louis don't you? And said rail line regularly used by Union's biggest employers?

No actually I did not realize that - thanks for pointing that out!

I have adjusted the Rock Island Trail maps - both the one at the top of the web pages and the interactive map - to account for this.

I also took this opportunity to add the new section of trail in Jackson County to the maps: from north of Lee's Summit to the Truman Sports Complex, which officially opens 7/10/2021.
