Are there any trailheads where you can boondock with an rv overnight? This would be for later this month.

From DNR's website: Missouri State Parks does not provide camping along Katy Trail State Park. Camping is available at public and privately owned campgrounds adjacent to the trail.

Portland and Bluffton in the center of the trail both have private campgrounds just off the trail. Bluffton Barn also has a fire ring and firewood available if you call ahead.

The Roundhouse in Franklin also has RV spaces and it is right along the trail - and a great place to camp!

Farrington Park in Windsor has 10 RV spots. You might want to call the office ahead of time
