There are some pretty nasty ruts/cracks in the trail west of McKittrick. They are large enough to snag all but the widest mountain bike tire.

You got that right. Those ruts are nasty. We were thinking that the New Madrid Fault had relocated.

we were there the 13 & 14 the ruts are gone!!!! It would have surprised me if they weren't....
